chip to deal with all input signals, provides the pictures
with the characteristics of high resolution, none noise,
none flicker and good color reproduction etc, picks
up all types of objects (like lectures and other documents,
charts, 3-dimensional objects, plates, transparencies
or slides) and turns them to be video and SVGA signals
more lifelike, then sends them to television or projector
